2018 Black Sears Zinfandel – Howell Mountain, Napa Valley

The Black Sears Vineyard has become legendary to fans of T-Vine and Zinfandel. Perched at just around 2,400 feet of elevation on Howell Mountain, just east of our tasting room, it’s as close to heaven as any vineyard we've seen before. Rich volcanic soils, cool Pacific breezes, and craggy old vines dating back almost 50 years made this vineyard the place to grow hardy Zinfandel. 

After the 2018 harvest, the Black Sears family decided to replace our Zinfandel block with Cabernet grapes making this our very last vintage of Black Sears Zinfandel. So, we're going out with a bang–– this is our best vintage to date.

With baking spice and brambleberry pie on the nose, you will be brought right back to memories of your very first taste of Zinfandel.
