2020 Bacigalupi Zinfandel – Russian River Valley

Helen and Charles Bacigalupi started farming their precious old vine grapes in the Russian River Valley in 1956. The Bacigalupis were about 50 years ahead of the sustainable agriculture movement, avoiding chemicals and tilling and then training vines as high as four feet above the ground to improve air circulation. Zin from this vineyard is rare, natural, and absolutely perfect. We think you’ll agree.

The 2020 vintage of our Bacigalupi Zinfandel comes from the beautiful Russian River Valley and begins with red stone fruit and baking spices on the nose with subtle hints of sweet smoke, this light bodied, clear wine has wonderful flavors of fresh nectarines and strawberries and cream on the palate, with its smooth clean tannins and mild soft finish, this wine is sure to leave you looking forward to the next sip.
