2021 Rosé of Grenache - Sierra Foothills

The 2021 Rosé of Grenache is back and better than ever.

This vintage is made with 100% Grenache grapes sourced from two vineyards in the Sierra Foothills, just east of Sacramento. Known to be a very warm region, it is ideally suited to grow Grenache grapes.

Our team hand-picked the two blocks in August of 2021 and then both lots were whole-cluster pressed and cold settled for 48 hours followed by a slow ferment in stainless steel barrels for 3 weeks. This method of production allows us to retain and enhance the delicate aromas and flavors of the Grenache grape.

Delightfully pink in color, this Rosé is a Provençal-style wine - delicate, dry, fruity, and crisp. Expect a bouquet of subtle rose petals, pale strawberries, and sweet melon on the nose, bringing you right into the height of springtime bloom. Each sip rewards the palate with a harmonious convergence of flavors that include mouthwatering strawberry, bright cherry, a hint of grapefruit, and summertime fruit punch.
