2017 LeVois Zinfandel Six-Pack

Nose: This highly aromatic Zinfandel greets the nose with notes of freshly baked mixed berry pie, red currant, and black pepper. There is a savory quality to the LeVois as well, exhibiting balsamic and white truffle as tertiary notes. 

Palate: On the palate, the 2017 LeVois is a classic example of Sonoma Zinfandel. The cool, coastal climate in Dry Creek Valley results in a lower alcohol Zinfandel and moderate tannins on the mouthfeel. Black pepper, mixed berries, and mushroom with an acidic backbone and dry finish make this wine ideal for a food pairing setting. 

Food pairings: Since the 2017 LeVois tends to be on the lighter-bodied side with low tannins, it is recommended to enjoy this wine with grilled sausages, lamb, or tomato-based sauces (did someone say pizza?).
